THE LIGHT OF FAITH

Pope Francis has just released his first encyclical 'The light of Faith.' The encyclical was commenced by Pope Benedict and almost completed by him. However Pope Benedict resigned as pope before its completion. It is however know as the first encyclical of Pope Francis as Pope Francis did add a little extra and released it as an encycical of the Pope.
Basically the encyclical says that Jesus said that He was the light. Without Jesus to guide us we cannot view the world clearly and without the light we are left in the dark. God loves His people and Jesus came to show us that love. Without the words of Jesus to guide us we are pessimistic and view the world as a dark place. By caring for others you already follow a path lit up by Jesus and become closer to God.

The first encyclical of Pope Francis has been announced
Faith gives us light he did pronounce
Our Heavenly Father loves us dearly
And the light of faith helps us to see this clearly. 

The first encyclical of Pope Benedict was God is love
And to show this love He sent His Son from above
Jesus came to earth as a beacon of light
And if we don’t follow His path, we will never be right.

If we don’t follow the light left by Jesus we lead a life completely blind
To the love God has for each of us and we will have a dark mind
Without God in your life you make decisions that are twisted and unwise
For the way things really are you can only surmise.
